Combined Enterprise Resource Levelling AND Substitution Wizard?

Hi

Is it possible to combine enterprise resource levelling AND the
resource substitution wizard in one step?

All I want to do is come up with the quickest plan to deliver 10
enterprise projects, using an enterprise resource pool that contains
multi skilled staff, whilst observing any fixed deadlines. Surely this
is possible in one step?

I'm using MS Project Server 2007 and MS Project Professional 2007.

* If I just level my enterprise projects then the resources stay the
same and the finish dates change.
* If I just substitute resources across my enterprise projects then
the resources change but the finish dates don't.
- I then need to manually run levelling across the projects and
that doesn't deliver the optimum plan across all projects.

Thanks for any thoughts that you may have!!!

Gordie:

The substitution tool isn't highly evolved, so to get the best results, you
should level the plans first using generic resources and then use the
substitution wizard. There is no tool in the suite that allows you to pour
in schedules and resources, spin it a few times and output multiple
resourced and leveled plans. At this stage of the product's maturity that
would be considered somewhere between magic wand and miracle machine.
