combining accounts

have set up both an earthlink pop account and a gmail imap account that have seperate inboxes, etc. Can i get the mail to come in to the same inbox?

Well the IMAP account has to live in a separate inbox. It's due to the
fact that IMAP accounts as synched with the server and not downloaded on
your Mac (then deleted from the server, as with POP accounts).

You can cheat though. Create a smart view to display all e-mail from
both inboxes and use this one.
I usually create one to display unread e-mails from all my accounts. I
find it fairly convenient.

Or you can create an IMAP rule under Tools --> Rules... that moves your
incoming messages to the Inbox under the folders "On My Computer".
