combining animation features on single object

Is there a way to do advanced animation on a slide, basically ask it to do two things to a single object rather than one simple thing? I want an object to "zoom" in to appear, and then move to another spot on the slide.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

What you're asking involves the use of Motion Paths which aren't a feature
of the Mac version. If you can get your file to a PC you can create the
Motion Path & it will work if you run the show on a Mac.

There are probably more options so keep checking back, but one idea you
might try is:

Create a duplicate of the object. Then set an Entrance animation effect for
"object 1" - Zoom is one that's available. Also set it's After Animation
property to Hide After Animation (or perhaps Hide on Next Animation). For
"object 2" select an Entrance effect & set its Start property to After
Previous. That should provide the "impression" of what you're describing
except that you won't see the object "move". However if you play around with
the various Animation Effects you may be able to come even closer than what
I've described - maybe even better than what you envisioned :)
