combining contactinformation with appointments

Hello,

i'm dutch so possibly translations are not right. When I want to have/make
an appointment with a bussiness contact, eg. a meeting or a call, I want to
show the relevant info in the calendar.
When I choose Business contacts in the menubar, and then appointment in the
rolldown menu of 'New history item' in the Communicate part of the ribbon,
there seems to be no possibility to link relevant information.
Does anyone know a way to show at least the name and desirably more
selectable info or a link to the selected business contact in the subject
field of that appointment?

Your best solution is to enter "Lunch with Bob Jones" in the Subject of the
appointment.

But isn't that silly?
You fill in all the data in the contacts form, so why didn't MS come
to the idea to use that data for the action you have to take?
Isn't there anyone among the Office-developers to solve the problem?

There are two problems with your suggestion. One, I am trying to make the
apointment while I am on the road, on my palm. Typing in that much
information is problematic. The second probem is that the name has not
assosiation with the date. this becomes a problem if I have schedualed the
date out so far that by the time it arrives I have forgotten who this person
is. If there is a link to a contact I could just click "show contact" and
the contact info card pops up.
There is another problem with your suggestion, I just cant think of it now.
