combining info on different worksheets

I have developed a 12 month calander format for three
different topics (all on one worksheet; this is my main
calander. I have made 12 tabs for additional worksheets
that are the individual months (each cell on each month
being accessible for text).
What I am trying to do is as I enter text on say June
3rd, I want to have a this added to the main calander for
the month of June in either some sort of "counter" (as I
want something to appear in the month of June that can
total the number of things I add to another day within
the month). Eventually I want to make a graph from the
main calander that bar graphs the number of itmes from
individual months that have been added to the main
calander under the proper month.
I am terrible at explaining what i need but if anyone can
decipher my ignorance, please respond/thanks
