Combining multiple documents

Hello,
I'm trying to create one document out of several documents by pasting
all documents into the first one. The first paragraph of each of those
documents has 'PageBreakBefore' turned on so I don't have to specify page
break for every document. I copy and paste all documents to the first
document.

The problem I am having is with second document only i.e. the first pasted
document. Word somehow turns on 'PageBreakBefore' for the last paragraph of
the first document. Therefore the last paragraph of the first document
appears on the next page with the second document. All the rest of the
pasted documents appear fine. I also tried to insert a continuous section
break before pasting the documents but that didn't work. The strange thing I
saw when I turned on the view options to see all the characters is that the
section break is inserted before the last paragraph mark of the first
document. For the rest of the documents, it is inserted after the last
paragraph mark, that is what I want. Did I confuse the heck out of
everybody?

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks
Junaid
