I found it. Now I have a new issue. I am attempting to
consolidate multiple
projects into one project going forward. These project have
linked tasks
between them. I was hoping MS Project would remove the path link
and resolve
directly to the linked task in the new consolidated project.
However, when I
look at the predecessor and successor I still see the path to the
former sub
project. Is there anyway to resolve this and link directly to the
new task
line?
Thank you

Hello Joanna,
Sorry, no. The entire path will appear. There will be multiple
tasks with the same IDs, so to identify the predecessor/successor
relationship completely, the entire path must be there.
If you initially inserted the projects without the link, the
predecessor/successor will just show the ID from the consolidated
project file.
I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
