Combining resources

I have a project plan wherin I have a number of tasks assigned to two
different resources. I would like to combine both of these resource
names into one rather than having to go into each individual task and
re-assigning from one resource to another and then delete the one
resource that I no longer need. I have one resource leaving the
project and all their tasks will be re-assigned to the same existing
resource who already has other tasks assigned to them. Is there a
quick way of doing this in MS Project 98?

Hi,

Yes. Select all tasks, then in the Assign Resources dialog (Alt+F10) select
the resource to be replaced then click the Replace button. Now select the
new resource.

Alternatively do a search and replace on the Resources column!
