Combining Tables/resizing columns

I have three tables combined. All have 4 columns, but column alignments are
different. I've tried dragging to even the column lines, but it's always
slightly off.

Is there some easy way in which to align columns? Otherwise I'm faced with
inserting rows and copying/pasting the data to the properly-sized columns.

Thanks!

In my experience this is one of the unavoidable pitfalls when you join
columns. Depending on the contents you might be able to convert the table to
text and then back to a table. Try this with a backup copy!

Littlebear,
Have you tried dragging with the Alt-key pressed, that should allow you to
adjust more precisely.

Or... select the column (it's highlighted), establish the 'drag' mark, and
double click.

Thank you. I had tried every other suggestion to adjust column width and
this is the one that worked for me.
