Combo auto expand

I have a combo box with Auto Expand and Limit to List both set to
'yes'.

When I type 'C' I correctly get:
C J Valeting
When I type 'CO' I get:
Cogent Seating Ltd
again correct
BUT when I go on to type 'COM', looking for 'Commercial Motors', I get
(incorrectly)
CoMgent Seating Ltd

Auto expand ceases to work and the keyboard appears to go into insert
mode.

The mystery is even worse in that this only occurs when Caps Lock is on
but not when it is off. Even worse, it only happens on one particular
computer - not on others.

There must be some setting on this computer which is causing this - any
suggestions as to what it could be?

Why do you think that is incorrect? "CoMgent" precedes "Commercial"
alphabetically.

Because 'CoMgent' is not in the list and so should not make a match

My guess is Autocorrect has change your entry.
Check your table as well as the Combo SQL.
Is there an entry for CoMgent?
Check AutoCorrect. Is there a entry there to change Commercial Motors
(or any portion of it) to CoMgent.
Also check AutoCorrect capitaliztion changes.

If CoMgent is not in the table/Quety, do you still get problem if you
set the combo box 'Allow Autocorrect' property to No.
