combo box events not recognised on first selection

Hello,
I have a problem in access 2000 with a combo box.
when you select and item from the box, it is not
recognised until you do it a second time. The click/b4
update/change event
do not fire the first time you select something. The
event is thus only recognised on alternate
selections which is not good. Any ideas why this is
happening and any solutions.

have you tried moving your code to the After Update event of the combo
control? The AfterUpdate() event fires as soon as you click on a selection
in the box. If this doesn't help your situation, then please post your
code... and stay in the original thread.
