combo box issue

alright, this may be a simple question but i am having trouble with
thsi. I have a form where the user can choose a customized query where
they choose a field from a combo box, then a value from anohter combo
box. The query works but i have run into an issue. I have this form
as a subform on a different form and when i load the main form in form
view, i am not able to select any values from the drop down box. it
drops down and all but i cannot select any values from it? any ideas
on properties i can check that might cause this? thanks.

nevermind, i thought i already had checked the allowedits property but
apparantely i did not. that was my problem.
