combo box not recognising click event first time

Hello,
I have a problem in access 2000 with a combo box.
when you select and item from the box, it is not
recognised until you do it a second time. The click event
does not fire the first time you select something. The
click event is thus only recognised on alternate
selections which is not good. Any ideas why this is
happening and any solutions.

David,

The On Click event is apparently not a good choice for what you want... try
the Before Update or On Change event instead.
