combo box query

cbDescription is bound to txtDescription in tblProfiles

How do I have cbDescription display descriptions and allow new ones to be recorded

Open the cbDescription's property sheet. Select the Data tab and set the
Limit To List = No?

Thanks, Reggie. It's very weird - I was sure I did this but when I went back and looked I must not have because the property was "yes". Is Access teasing me again or has my brain gone numb...

Anyway, the cbox is fine now but my brain..
