Combo Box / VLOOKUP

Is it possible to link a VLOOKUP to the data in a combo box?

I am trying to create a report where a country is selected from the combo
box. The VLOOKUP picks up this value and the country is then displayed in a
number of cells.

Link the results of the combobox to a cell and use that cell in the vlookup.

My linked cell just produces a number of where the value of the combo box is
in the table

eg if i select Austria in the combo box the link cell displays 1 as Austria
is the first country in the list.

=offset(cell in topleft of data,cell with index number from combo, Column
Offset,1,1)

How did you solve this? I am having the same problem with a number coming up.

You can use a combo box from the control toolbox and it will return the
selection to the linked cell while a combo box from the forms toolbar
returns an index number.
