I'm running Access 2002 SP3 under Windows 2000.
I have a database program I've written, tables, forms, queries, etc. I've
used it for years, i.e. nothing has changed recently except the usual
Microsoft updates.
In the past couple weeks combo boxes on various forms that are populated by
queries of one or more tables "run wild". I key text in to look up and
instead of finding the record the records begin scrolling in the box.
Sometimes it stops, sometimes not.
It also happens when I'm adding related data, i.e. add main record, then add
contacts for that record via another form - the parent id field isn't copied
in to it's linked field I just see a zero, and looking up the contact I want
to add does the same odd scrolling thing.
It doesn't happen all the time, I would say it happens after I've added ten
records or so, but it's not consistent.
This behavior doesn't happen when I'm online in a combo or in any other
program on my PC.
Any ideas?
