Combo Boxes

I have a Combo Box in the Form view for selecting Occupations which
references to a Table in the Row Source of the properties. The Data Entry
person can also type in a unique Occupation, ie one which is not in the list.
What I would like is for the Data Entry person to have the option of adding
this unique Occupation to the Referenced table when it is typed in.
Thanks for any advice

Hi Roger,

You can use the NotInList event procedure to add a new item to the
underlying table. Go to the Meeting Downloads page here:
http://www.seattleaccess.org/

Scroll towards the bottom of the page. You should see a 16 KB download:

Not In List - Detailed Instructions by Tom Wickerath,
