Combo Office -- How 2 Update?

Hi -- I've just installed Excel 2000 and Word XP (2002) on my new
laptop. I want to update them.

Question #1: What is the link to get the updates?
Question #2: Will I have any complications because I don't have a full
Office suite, and have Word & Excel from different years?
