Hello everyone,
I am running Outlook 2003. I use Comcast at home. However, sometimes
when I'm visiting grandma in West Virginia, I dial-up to work to get
Internet access. (Slow!) My emails are downloaded into my Outlook,
but no emails will be sent. I assume this is because Comcast doesn't
want "outside users" to use its servers to send emails. Fair enough.
But any ideas how I can circumvent this considering I am actually a
Comcast customer?
The error message I receive is: "Task 'mail.comcast.net - Sending'
reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please
verify the email address in your account properties. The server
responded: 530 Authentication required.'
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kelly
