Hello,

I have windows NT 4.0, with office Pro installed. I am
trying to insert comdlg32.ocx onto a form, but I get the
error message:

You don't have the license required to use this ActiveX
control.

I used the regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx command, but it does not
make a difference.

Is there any way to insert the comdlg32.ocx control into
my access 97 form.

This file is highly prone to versioning and licensing problems. The general
consensus in these newsgroups is that you should use the code found at:

I won't dispute Cheryl's statement, but, if her solution is unattractive or
unworkable for you, consider the patch described in MS KB article 172859 at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;172859. It has
never failed me.
