I have trouble with Outlook and Cloudmark, when I select in "comm add-ins"
the Cloudmark check box or any other listed theerit does not seem to want to
accept or retain them

That usually means Outlook disabled that addin. You don't mention your
Outlook version but try this:

select Help, About Microsoft Outlook, Disabled Items button. If listed there
highlight it and click Enable. Exit and restart Outlook.

If the problem persists then it's possible you need a later version of that
addin or to just remove it if it's not written correctly.
