command/apple key in Office '04

hey all, in all previous versions of Office, I used to be able to hit
shift+command/apple and either left or right arrow to highlight & select
individual words. But, in '04 I can't, doing the shift+command/apple+arrow
key only selects the entire line.

Anyone have any ideas?

You can remap the key assignments yourself. Tools | Customize, click
Keyboard, select All Commands in the left column and in the right column I
think the commands you want are:
Word Left Extend, Word Right Extend
Enter a new key assignment, click Assign, OR it will tell you if a key
assignment already exists.

FYI, there are also commands for extending the selection [Char Left Extend,
Char Right Extend], and extending it to the end of the line [End of Line
Extend].
