Command Button Ctrl+Alt+Shift_F9

I would like to place a Command Button in an excel worksheet so that pressing
it would be the same as pressing 'Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9'

Thank you

And what does Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9 do? I have not memorized all of the
keyboard combinations yet.

I found it:

Rechecks dependent formulas and then calculates all cells in all open
workbooks, including cells not marked as needing to be calculated.

Maybe somebody will take the time to create a macro that is redundant to
this.

That sounds like
Application.CalculateFullRebuild
(xl2003 or greater?????)

For all open workbooks, forces a full calculation of the data and rebuilds the
dependencies.

If that's not right, maybe just using application.sendkeys would be
sufficient????

That might do it. I am trying to figure out the difference in the amount of
effort it takes to press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9 and clicking a button.

My guess would be the 4-finger Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9 combination is somewhat
cumbersome, a simple mouse click isn't.

Thank you for the suggestion it works great.

To answer JLGWhiz's post: The workbooks will go to a client. I figured it
would be easier to place an 'Update Data' button on the worksheet than write
text in a cell that says: "To update data press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9".

Hi Lonnie, That makes sense to do a little human engineering on the user.
Posting the objective will always get you an quicker and better solution.
