command button failed

I get errors when putting a command button onto a form:
first a "Command Button Wizard" window pops up saying

"Method 'RowSource' of object '_ListBox' failed".

If I click OK, it takes me to the choices. but no matter
what I choose, the same window appears. When I click
Cancel, it says "You can't carry out this action at the
present time". Any ideas? thanks
