Command button to close and return to original form

Tammy S.

I have a subform with a command button that will return the user to the main
form. However, the subform remains open. I'd like the command button to
also close the subform on click. Can anyone help me with the code? Thank
you.

Sorry Tammy but that does not make too much sense. SubForms are embedded in
SubFormControls on other form so I do not see how it could contain a close
button that works as you described. Do you mean you have two forms (F1 and F2)
and you open F2 from F1 and then close F2 (or try) and F2 remains open?

F2 opens from F1. F2 has a command button that returns to F1. I'd like F2
to also close when that command button is clicked.

Just add the close to the button code. You can do this wityh either code or a
macro.
