command buttons flash then disappear

I created an Excel document with 6 command buttons which run macros I
created. They work fine on my pc as well as most others. However, on some
pc's, when I open the file, the buttons flash initially then disappear. We
are using Windows XP & Office 2003.

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Tried to install Office 2003 SP2, and Repair,
without help. When I draw a new button, it "freaks" out. The size is set to
Height 768,75 and width 0,75. When I resize it, the buttonface is blank with
an X in the upper left corner. Have you gotten any response to the problem ?
