The problem I’m having is “SOMETIMES†a command button on a form works
and other times I receive the following error: “Microsoft office access has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.â€
The command button could be something simple like open /view a report or
close
a form.
Even after a compact repair button doesn’t work. I “think†if I go into the
vba code and run a compile command, the button will work, but I don’t want
end users to have to do that every time.
I have several different databases that were originally created in Access
2003, I have installed and now using 2007 to open/run the database .mdb
files.
I am using XP operating system. FE file is on desktop, linking to a BE file
on network. I have already set up trusted sources for both desktop and
network areas.
Anyone else having this problem after upgrading to 2007? Anyone know the
answer as to why or how to fix?
