Hey everyone. I have several users editing a very large word doc in 07. the
file itself is in .doc format. THey are having several problems with being
able to accurately track who made which comments. One of my users gave me
this information...
....Joe made comments and changes. On his PC. his name appeared in the
comments. I opened the same document on my PC and the changes appeared with
my initials on them. I re-sent Joe the document, he opened them and my
changes appeared with his initials on them....
They both have their user information entered correctly. what could be
causing this? I am assuming there will be no easy way to get back information
regarding who made what comments? There are already over 300 comments from 7
users. But now they appear to be from 1 or 2 people. SOME authors' comments
seem to retain the correct author information.
thanks in advance for any ideas.
