Comment reference is backward and right aligned

My comment boxes look and type backward as though they were right aligned but
the paragraph setting says that it is left aligned.

Should look like this:

Comment [AMC1]: This comment text looks
corrrect.

Instead, it looks like this:

This comment text breaks and :[AMC1] Comment
appears below.

Check the properties of the style in your comment boxes. It appears to have
acquired a large hanging indent.

I think I figured out what it was. The document had a piece of it copied from
an employee based in Saudi Arabia. I think it was using right-to-left
language formatting. I found a thread that proved to have no results to all
of the suggestions. I ended up copy and pasting sections into a new document
and now it's fine. It even copied the comments and put them in the correct
left-to-right format. Thanks anyway!
