Commenting the hours worked

Hi,

We're using MS Project server to track the work done by our resources in our
projects, and are really pleased with the way it works.

However; from time to time my resources need to comment on the work done per
task (and ideally per date). Is there anyway of doing this in an easy manner?

I thought of that. But that will only give me comments per task. Ideally, I
would like a comment per date. E.g. if someone's done 5 hrs of work one day,
I would like to know what's been done.

Any ideas?

(Also; we sometimes use to Notes field to add information about a task when
planning a project. Wouldn't comments by resources overwrite this?)
