comments box gets chopped off by freeze panes!

It would seem another typical stupid MS situation. Ive got colum
headers in row 2. Quite an obvious possiblity is going to be puttin
comments in those headers to explain exactly what the column is about.
Another obvious and common possibility is using freeze panes to kee
the headers visible.

So why is it that when putting a comment in one of these, then usin
freeze panes, as soon as u scroll down and move the mouse over th
comments box, it gets chopped off at the point of the freeze pane lin
insead of exhibiting a little common sense and going over the top o
the freeze pane so you can actually see whats in the comments box?

Is there a way to fix it? or have i got to make people scroll right t
the top of my sheet all the time before they will be able to see th
whole comments box?

A simple way would be to change the hieght of header row
so that is can show the comment's text

yep but then the header row is going to be far too big, or the text i
the comment is going to have to be too small
