comments in track changes

I am reviewing the comments I have inserted in a document. With some of them
the comment appears on the screen when I hover my mouse over the initials,
but with others nothing happens when I hover my mouse. I have inserted the
comments all exactly the same way and cannot fathom my some will appear and
others won't. Any ideas?
