comments is limited to maximum number

I've a excel scheet with a lot of comments, but now they are not placed at
the right place or overwriting old comments, is there a bug or is there a
maximum of comments on a excel sheet ??

You do know that you can move the comments manualy and they will stay
in that position
maybe that is what happen
Turn all of the comments off then turn them on
if they still overlap just move them

I Know that, but that is not the point,

old ones are overwriten by the new ones
or not saved at all
