I have multiple embeded Excel spreadsheet in a Word document.
And I want to run some calculation in one spreadsheet with value from an
other spreadsheet embeded in this Word document.
There's no way to set up a dynamic link for this. From Word into the
embedded Excel file, or vice versa: that can work in the newer versions of
Word. But not between two embedded objects; not even if you put the value
somewhere into the Word document. The updating just can't cope with it all.
You'd have to link the spreadsheets in from an outside file and do the
links between the files.
Or you'd have to run code that automates Word. Opens the one embedded
object (in a separate Excel window, not in-place because otherwise you
can't exit at the end), get the value, close the window, open the next
object and insert the value, then close the window.
