I am using a Windows batch program to open Access, click a
button on the startup form, and then close the program in
a continuously operating loop (24x7). It's writing the
current time into a home page and then the batch program
uploads the page to the Internet.
The setup crashes occasionally with about 50 instances of
Access opened and the message: "An error occurred while
Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or
ActiveX control. Close the OLE server and restart it
outside of Microsoft Access. Then try the original
operation again in Microsoft Access." I have to either
close all 50 windows or pull the plug and start over.
Anybody have any idea why this occurs? Is there something
I could put in my batch program to avoid it?
Thanks.
Bill
