communication device does not exist

Keep getting error message now that I've switched to dialup on holidays.
Says 'selected communication device does not exist, verify settings and try
again'. Mail and Safari both work, why won't entourage. I've verified settings,
they look right! Help!!! Greg

I've been having the same problem. It seems to happen when I have
been accessing on a wireless network and then go back to the modem
connection. I have re-entered all of my information for the modem
cconfiguration and it worked. I just wish there was some way to do
both wireless and dial-up without changing the settings every time.
Mail will do this. Why can't Entourage?

I've been having the same problem. It seems to happen when I have

Does quitting and restarting Entourage fix it? It could be that Entourage is
getting confused by the network switch. If so a restart should fix it.
