Communication Link Failure

I have lost connection to my project server while saving my project schedule
and received and error "Communication Link Failure". Now when i try to save
my project again, i receive a duplicate insert error.

How do i recover this project to be able to save it again.

Are you receving any error message when you are trying to open the project?

Most likely you project is in a checked out state. Go into Project Web
Access, select the project tab and then select check in my projects on the
left hand side. If your project is checked out, it will show up there.
