I have a client that runs my database on a peer to peer setup with the data
on one machine and an individual frontend on each of the user's machines.
The computers are all running xp professional. When the database is
compacted from the machine that it is on it removes the share from the folder
that it is in (actually the share is still there but the other users cannot
access the data). I've had to actually create a new folder, transfer the
data and then share the new folder. Has anyone seen this or have a
work-around for it?
Thanks,
