compact files

After converting handwriting to text is there a way to purge out handwriting
from the file? My files sizes are kinda big for just text and I noticed that
after the conversion the text still retains the original handwriting. I
understand the feature and its purpose (if the conversion is incorrect you
can determine what you originally wrote), however after I'm satisfied with
the results I'd like to clean up the file.

What do you mean that the handwriting remains on the text?

OneNote is pretty good about keeping the files optimized. You can clean up
the files manually by going to Tools | Options | Open and Save and using
the "Optimize" settings at the bottom of the dialog box.

I'm referring to the feature where after conversion you can highlight the
word and then right click and see other choices for the conversion or revert
back to the original handwriting. So after I'm satisfied with the conversion
I would like to purge out the any traces of the handwriting anticipating the
file size would be reduced.
