Company Name from Word Envelopes Address Book

Bridger

Hi,

I'm trying insert an address from the Address Book under Word2002's "Envelopes and Labels" that includes the individual's Name, Company, Street address and City/State/Zip. When I click on the address book it links to my company's Contacts file from Outlook2002. I can successfully select an individual but it will not include the Company Name as filled on in the "Company" field on the card.

Certainly there is some way to do this or this function would only be useful for personal mail.

This probably isn't a pure "mailmerge" question, but there isn't any where else to ask it.

Thanks.

The reply was in the thread -
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...Company+Name+from+Word+Envelopes+Address+Book

But what it boild dow to is that what is displayed can be dictated by an
autotext entry called AddressLayout (all one word). If you copy and paste
the following into a Word document and save it as an autotext of that name.
The company name will be added where present.

{<PR_GIVEN_NAME> <PR_SURNAME>
}{<PR_COMPANY_NAME>
}{<PR_POSTAL_ADDRESS>}

For a list of the fields that may be used like this, see
http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm
and if you were to access this news server directly
http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm you would find it much easier to locate the
answers to your questions.
