Compare and Merge

I sent a document to my boss for checking and he made some changes and sent
it back.

The problem is that the document he returned is full of red text (changes)
and black lines but I can't get rid of them.

HELP!

I have discovered that if I right-click on the red changes and choose
'accept changes' it solves the problem!

I assume you have 2003. Reviewing ToolBar should be on, if not turn it on. With document open, click the NEXT button on the Reviewing ToolBar, and it should take you to the first change, To the right of the NEXT button are the ACCEPT and REJECT buttons, if you want to accept his changes, click ACCEPT - no more red. Click NEXT and so on.

You can also use Accept All Changes in Document on the menu you get if you
click the down arrow beside the Accept button.
