We produce about 2000 presentations in PPT every year. I would like to
be able to compare these presentations against a short list of about
ten STANDARD presentations.
The comparison would tell me: 1) if the order of the slides is
different (this just prevents a slide order change being interpreted as
being two slides with revised content), 2) If the slide title is the
same in two presentations it would tell me if the text, photos
(original file name, size & position) and shapes (size & position)
have been changed. 3) It would also tell me if new slides have been
added to the new presentation.
I want to be able to filter out new slides and ideas from new
presentations. This would help me spot new ideas without eyeballing
both presentations. I could also us it to track down slides that are
out-of-date and shouldn't be used.
I have tried looking at a product called Doc Diff
http://www.softinterface.com/MD/MD.htm
but it falls short on 1) the 'slides swapping order' test.
I am sure this option would be useful to many corporate PPT users!
Does anyone have an idea
