Compare differences in configurations in MS Project Server?

Good afternoon,

I'm about to work on a Project 2007 product inside my company and have a
question about maintaining configurations between systems. We are about to
go from a single developer system to multiple developer sytems with a test
system. My concen is the server configurations getting out of synch. Is
there a standard way to compare the configuration between systems (i.e.
Enterprise Custom Field Definitions)? Any help or suggestions on how others
maintain multiple systems is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jonathan

It's not foolproof, but you could try using the Playbooks tool which was
part of the Project Server SDK. That will export all Project Server settings
to an XML file, which can then be reuploaded (with some caveats) to a target
environment.

It wouldn't be too hard to compare multiple XML sheets from multiple environments
to identify deltas.
