I cannot compare any documents in Office 04 for Mac. Any thoughts?

Why can't you? Do you mean you don't know how, or it doesn't work, or
what? m.

Sorry, Matt, for that less than useful post. What I mean is this: I open a
file representing a draft of Document A. Then I go to the Tools menu, and
use the Compare function to open an earlier draft. My purpose, of course, is
to view the changes in the file. The Compare progress bar begins, but then
it stops towards the end. All I get is an empty box (looks like an error
message box, but it's empty, with only a left paragraph mark "(" in it and
the button to close it). Any thoughts as to why this is occurring and what
I can do about it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Harvey:

This problem could conceivably be caused by document corruption.

If you like to stuff that pair of documents and send them to my direct email
address I will take a look for you.

Please add the password cons35tdg; to the Subject line of your email to get
through my firewall.
