Comparing Pc Power Point

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

When I Use Power Point on a PC, I can start a presentation clicking on "Show" wiyh the right buttom. I cannot find the option of "Show" in Mac version.
Can anybody help me with this simple question?

If you mean right-clicking a PPt file & selecting Show it's because that
isn't the PowerPoint program's command - it's associated with the PowerPoint
Viewer app. That's why you don't wind up in PPt when the show ends. Viewer
isn't available for Mac so the command isn't in the contextual menu.

Viewer app.

Under Windows, Show's a rightclick option even if the viewer isn't installed.
Instead of sending just the filename to PPT, it also sends an /s which tells PPT
to open the file in Show view. When you start a presentation in Show mode, PPT
(like the viewer) quits when it ends.

You can accomplish the same thing on either Mac or PC by saving the file as a
PowerPoint SHOW instead of PRESENTATION.


That's why you don't wind up in PPt when the show ends. Viewer
isn't available for Mac so the command isn't in the contextual menu.
