Hi,
Is there an ability to compare a work book at different points in its life to assess what data has been added at discrete points? I am building a few workbooks and will apply filters, but keen to know if there is a sngle click to show data between two points in time as a report?

Your assistance appreciated.

Kind regards,

Pat

If you set the workbook to shared (Tools-Share workbook) Excel will keep an
internal log of who changed what when. Even if you are the only user, and
the workbook is not really shared, the log report may be what you are
looking for.

Bob,

How do you "view" the log?

Thanks.

In the tools menu, select track changes - highlight changes. There is a
check box to lit the changes on a new sheet.
