Office components on a computer I purchased 6 months ago are all version 2002. I just purchased Office Professional for a new laptop. It's compoments are all version 2003. If I create an office document (word, powerpoint, access ,etc) from version 2003, will I have any compatability problems reading or modifying it on my computer with the 2002 version?

HI Steve,

MS Office 2003 can open and use the Office XP/2002 formats.

Sir,
Thanks for your quick response. I am not surprised that Office 2003 can read a document frim Office 2002. The question is if I make a document (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) in Office 2003 will my computer using Office 2002 have any difficulty reading and modifying it? Will I have a compatability problem going from 2003 to 2002?

Thanks!!

Steve

You shouldn't have any problems.
