Compatability of Office 2000 Pro with Windows XP Pro

I am getting a new computer with Windows XP as the O.S. I
have Office 2000 Pro installed on my present computer and
am completely satisfied with it. Can I safely install
Office 200 Pro on my Windows XP computer and continue to
use it or must I upgrade to Office 2002 2003?

What do you mean "Yes and No"? What's the "No" bit? Mine works flawlessly.

Reread the OP carefully. He asked two(2) questions. I answered them in order.
With an apparently lame attempt at a little humor(hence the <G>).

Cheers,
