Compatibility Issue PowerPoint 2000/2002

A presentation was composed in PowerPoint 2000. It was
then emailed to people in the company who are running
PowerPoint 2000 and PowerPoint 2002. Those running 2000
had no trouble opening it. Those running 2002 received an
error. The error is "Exception Information: Code:
0x00000958"

I have tried to search the knowledge base and have come up
with nothing relating to this problem. I have also tried
just a random online search through Google and have come
up with nothing relevant to this issue. Does anybody know
anything about this?
