compatibility office 2000/os xp

I am trying to download office 2000 cd to my xp computer.
I recieve an error message error 1305
D:\PFiles\MSoffice\clipit.acs
I have tried the compatibility wizard with no luck.
Has anyone had this problem? Is there a fix?
